This casual arrangement of small pieces fromthe garden was made in a tumbler, and wasin scale with the wine table on which it stood.

An arrangement made in front of a mirror willgive double delight. Variegated Privet was usedwith these Roses which were held by crumpled wire.

An idea for Winter.

This lichen covered pine branch was wedged between twostones which held it firmly in the container. The interestingshape gave it the appearance of a miniature tree whichpicked up the spirit of the picture on the wall. Note theaddition of the small china owls.

This arrangement for a side table was madewith flowers of mauve and yellow in a purpleshellac bowl to match the colour scheme ofthe room. Golden Rod, yellow Roses andmauve Michaelmas Daisies formed the mainpart of this Victorian styled design, whilstyellowing Virginia Creeper and berriesdrooped over the rim of the bowl.
