An overhanging lamp dramatised the beauty of thesegrasses, Lilies of the Valley and Roses, delicately held inthe exquisite Grecian styled Royal Worcester hand vase.
Long eared Wheat made an effective outline for this arrange-ment of six Dahlias, backed low down by reddish green Peonyleaves. The flowers were Stuart Ogg's lovely shell pinkvariety "Miss Rose Fletcher," while the glass dish was purple.
Five Arum Lilies set in a green plate, in which the pin holder ishidden by Laurel leaves and flanked by a Royal red Madonnafigurine make this dramatic picture. The stem ends of these bloomsare tied with raffia or wire to avoid their curling or splitting. |
